George Sanders and Shawn Curran teamed together in 2005 to create Sneaky Snake Films. Their short films (starring a green sock-puppet snake named Sneaky) have won several major film festival awards, in addition to their screenwriting awards. Sanders and Curran recently teamed with UK writer and award-winning filmmaker, Tess Malone, to create TTT Films. They have completed several spec episodes for a dramedy series called Marked, which is about a murderous modern-day vigilante living in New York. A prolific Hollywood TV director is attached.
Two of Sanders/Curran feature-length scripts, Bird Brained (family/comedy) and Chomp! (horror) won the top three in the ReelHeART International Film Festival Screenwriter’s Competition. Chomp! was a finalist in HBO’s Project Greenlight. Bird Brained was optioned by The Robert Evans Company at Paramount.
Sanders and Curran just had one of their book adaptations, a spy novel set in the 80’s called Tomorrow We Live, published as a graphic novel, which will be released late this summer. They also have a children’s book, Peefi Fifi, about a snobby French Poodle living in London who gets lost in the London Zoo. The duo currently does voice-overs and produces complete soundtracks for graphic novels at Books That Rok.
Sanders received a BFA in Filmmaking and Acting from NYU and Curran studied at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Sanders and Curran divide their time between New York City and Los Angeles.
