Abraham Vilchez-Moran, born in Venezuela, raised on the East Coast near the Chesapeake Bay, is a Director rooted in the past yet on the edge of the future of filmmaking. Growing up obsessed with the photography and direction of Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey” at the age of 12, his work evokes a timelessness and yet an eye for futuristic detail few other Directors are able to capture.
